Leisure and Community Program
The Leisure and Community Program led by the Ministry for Development of the Negev and Galilee combines the educational vision of the formal pre-school and kindergarten school system in Be’er Sheva with the Lunada’s vision of experiential interactive learning. The goal of the project is to provide a space for experiential learning for young children, and to teach both parents and educators experiential learning methods by enriching them with knowledge so they can proactively use the concept. The program is offered to Pre-schools and Kindergartens in the city of Be’er Sheva and is subsidized by the Negev and Galilee Authority. There are four meeting for each school. The program deals with topics like planning, time management and researching our world. Two of the meetings take place in the school and the other two at Lunada, with the final being open to both parents and kids
